By default, all Scylla VMS databases are encrypted. Data flow, including server-to-server and server-to-client connections (both TCP and HTTP), can be encrypted at will. A recent software update has also introduced HTTPS for server-camera connections. When it comes to the video archive, you have the ability to protect each storage item with a different password. In-software archive access is safeguarded by user passwords, ensuring that clients can automatically decrypt the archive. Accessing the proprietary archive format (unreadable by third-party software) using our Portable Player requires entering the password. Additionally, utilizing several databases instead of a single one adds an extra layer of protection against corruption.
